About

Hi, I’m Alex and welcome to my blog!

Born and raised in Milan, I started working as showroom coordinator for my family’s company at the age of nineteen and I now work as a freelance fashion consultant and marketing manager for my own company.

I have always been passionate about fashion and photography, culture and art in all its forms. A theatre student in my teenage years, I then went on to study Economics and Finance through Coursera, along with working. In 2020 I opened a Flickr account to post my own photographic works; as Avedon once said: “If a day goes by without my doing something related to photography, it’s as though I’ve neglected something essential to my existence, as though I had forgotten to wake up.”

With strong foreign language skills, I am bilingual in English and Italian and am fluent in French. I also speak Spanish and am currently learning Russian as a self-taught person.

This blog is mainly for cultivating and sharing my passions and interests; you will find introductions to fashion shows and collections, movie and tv series reviews, travel tips and pictures from my Flickr portfolio.

In my free time I am an avid reader (so you may come across my book reviews, too) and I love taking care of my father’s nine dogs (yes, nine, you read that correctly!), so you will surely meet them along the way.

I want to do my part in protecting Planet Earth and the environment in general; every day I strive to be a better person and make the world a better place.
