Last March my stepsister Lucrezia opened her beauty salon in the coastal town of Lignano Sabbiadoro (Northeast Italy), and many citizens attended the opening night, which also included refreshments for guests and a welcome toast offered by the team. The venue, which was previously home to a real estate agency, was completely renovated before the opening and was furnished according to the owner’s taste. During that time I was based in Lignano Sabbiadoro for a few months and was able to witness the different stages that preceded the opening; the venue was turned into a beautiful place, completed with furniture from Maisons du Monde and other design brands made in Italy.
Lucrezia began her beautician studies about a year and a half prior to the inauguration, training at a few local beauty salons before deciding to open her own beauty studio. She specialized mainly in nail art and nail reconstruction, and is to this day a professional nail technician; her talent, kindness and care for her clients has helped make Lucrezia Beauty Studio one of the leading beauty salons in the town of Lignano Sabbiadoro.

Lucrezia Beauty Studio offers a wide selection of beauty treatments. Lucrezia is in charge of all nail-related work; manicures and pedicures (both with regular and semi-permanent nail polish), French manicure, nail reconstruction with nail plate and refill work, including gel-nail removal. She has a remarkable talent for nail art works and the designs she does on the nails are amazing; I also love her results in making Baby Boomer, an acrylic nail technique that makes nails look shaded with a very natural effect. I have rather small nails but thanks to Lucrezia I managed to stop biting them and I have been her client for semi-permanent nail polish application (living far from Lignano, it is difficult for me to visit the salon on a regular basis so I tend to do a DIY manicure with regular nail polish at home and go to Lucrezia for a manicure or other beauty treatments when I am visiting part of the family in Lignano). The nail polish used by Lucrezia are from top quality brands, such as Orly and Passione Unghie.

At Lucrezia Beauty Studio special attention is also given to facial treatments, which include facial cleansing, facial lifting effect treatment, facial brightening treatment (with hyaluronic acid as well), and eyelash lamination among others. A few months ago I was a client of Lucrezia’s for eyelash lamination, and she has done an outstanding job; we also took before-and-after photos that show how this keratin treatment thickens and restructures lashes, giving them volume and making the daily application of mascara unnecessary.
The salon also offers different promotions for treatments like brow lamination from time to time, so I suggest you keep an eye on Lucrezia Beauty Studio’s Instagram page, which gets updated on a weekly basis to offer regular and potential clients the latest beauty treatments and products.

The beauty center also has many requests for waxing, especially in the months leading up to the summer season, as Lignano Sabbiadoro is a seaside town in the Friuli region of Italy and it is a very popular place for tourists, especially in the summer.
For hair removal, the center uses Coco Cera Brazilian wax, which respects all skin types, even the most sensitive and delicate like mine; it is definitely a gentler method because it does not use strips to remove hair so I manage to book an appointment whenever I am in town.
The beauty center also offers a wide choice in massage, including anti-stress, anti-cellulite, draining and decontracting massage, as well as anti-cellulite mud. Massages and waxing are usually done by Ilary, Lucrezia’s co-worker at the beauty studio.

The excellent results are also due to the beauty brands the studio adopts in carrying out treatments, and many of the products used are also available to clients for sale, such as VIT-C antioxidant brightener and energy cream, DLine Cosmetics hand cream, and a series of Marzia Clinic products that include super-concentrated remodeling vials, salt scrub with micro-algae, body and hair face mask, and body and face scrubs of different flavors, including grapefruit and apple, coffee and ginseng, and rice and kiwi.
It is important to underline that the body scrub treatment is also available directly at the beauty studio; when traveling I have often found out that many beauty centers don’t provide this service so I consider it a great resource!

Everything takes place in a very relaxing and cozy environment and the professionalism, attention to detail and cleanliness of the place help make the experience at the beauty center wonderful. Lucrezia and Ilary are people that are very kind and attentive to the customer’s needs and you will certainly be happy with the way they work. If you are from Lignano Sabbiadoro or nearby I highly recommend you to try the beauty center for any kind of beauty treatment you need because it is excellent from all points of view. The same if you are on vacation and are visiting Lignano and its surroundings because the beauty center has many customers among vacationers even during the summer season and at Christmas time.
In my recent Fashion Business course with New York’s Parsons School of Design, I learned how important it is to create an omni-channel business in the sale of goods and services. Lucrezia Beauty Studio is a valuable example of a successful omni-channel business, as it makes extensive use of communication to clients via social media (including beauty tips and product usage) and it also allows clients to book appointments online through UALA and Treatwell.
